THE WALKING DEAD

The light has gone out of my life
The sun has lost warmth and lustre
The moon hiding behind the clouds
The stars closed their eyes in unison
The streams paused on their tracks
The willows shed tears unbearable
The breeze came to a sorry standstill
The sea stopped heaving their waves
The shores let out pneumatic sighs
The sky and the sea married no more
The horizon bereft of every hope
The arches of the future looked bleak
The earth wobbled once, stopped spinning
Birds stopped flying; the fauna lay down
The trees hung their branches, their leaves closed
My whole system, the whole being a zombie’s
One of the walking dead, infesting the graves.
All of this occurred because she left me.

Life is like a bunch of roses. Some sparkle like raindrops. Some fade when there's no sun. Some just fade away in time. Some dance in many colors. Some drop with hanging wings. Some make you fall in love. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Life you can be sure of, you will not get out ALIVE.(sorry about that)
