Tears for New Zealand

My heart goes out to those in Christchurch today is a sad day !

For all the World’s sanity

Terrorism in any form is evil !

Terrorism is not based on religion or race but the mental state of the person. We talk about it everyday Depression, Anxiety, well you have to have some sort of mental problems to be teaching your children hate or racism you see now where does it end ?

I heard someone at the gym this afternoon saying well an eye for an eye ! I STEPPED IN AND HAD SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THAT I tell you this ” love your neighbor bless those who persecute you, love those that hate you”

We will never see change if we as a people can’t respect each others beliefs and race.

Today someone’s father, mother son and daughter were taken away something needs to change !

Racism Colour
Children everywhere are innocent
When you grew up why do you “hate”
Growing up should be peaceful
Who taught you “hate”
Fills your heart with misery
You deserve better
Anyone is able to make the decision to be non judgemental
How about that thought
You will start as one pebble
And build a giant mountain pointing to
Peace, beautiful inside and out
Reach out and touch your neighbour’s hand
We are strong enough to be the best we can

Colin Randall, former QLD Police Officer who beat his 10 week old son to death, has had his appeal for early release DENIED !

Colin Randall, former QLD Police Officer who beat his 10 week old son to death, has had his appeal for early release DENIED !

The story of Colin Randall and how he punched his 10 week old baby boy Kye, in the stomach so hard he pulverised the little boyโ€™s liver, is a story that is downright horrific.

Horrific because the only explanation he gave was that he was “frustrated.”

Horrific because he punched his son in the stomach with such force it caused fatal injuries.

Horrific, because it was the first time he was left alone with Kye.

Horrific because he tried to blame the CPR for Kye’s death, claiming ‘misapplied force’ caused his death.

Horrific because he lied for 18 months to Kye’s mother Debra Chambers, manipulating and deceiving her into believing Kyeโ€™s death was a tragic accident.

Horrific because someone capable of losing control and behaving so abominably, managed to pass the psychological testing invoved in becoming a police officer, someone charged with protecting those unable to protect themselves.

Horrific because he pleaded guilty to manslaughter… not the murder charge he deserved.

Horrific because the 9 year sentence he received is a joke and a parole date of 2021 is not justice for Kye and his loved ones.

He was sent to jail last year for punching his baby son so hard the 10-week-oldโ€™s liver was โ€œpulpedโ€, but former Queensland police officer Colin Randall could be free soon. The brutal act came the first time the senior constable was left alone with his son Kye in June 2014. The then 37-year-old Randall had become obsessed with moving to Hervey Bay but a recent transfer request was knocked back by police.

He wanted to move to Hervey bay to be closer to the woman that he was having an affair with. The fact he couldnโ€™t be closer to his girlfriend made him so frustrated he punched a completely innocent and vulnerable 10 week old baby boy.

On the morning he killed his son, Randallโ€™s wife Debra Chambers had gone to the shops with their first child. Randall stayed at home and put Kye in a swing. The court heard Randall leaned down and punched Kyle once, leaving him with severe internal injuries from which he never recovered.

โ€œThe child went into cardiac arrest because of the trauma,โ€ Crown prosecutor Phil McCarthy said.

Randall was sentenced to nine years in prison last May after pleading guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter three days before his murder trial was due to start. The fact is the courts have difficulty proving murder in domestic situations, because they must prove the murderer intended to kill the victim.

We at FACAA have to question how in this particular case there can be any question at all of Randall’s intentions.
There could be no other likely outcome. What the hell did he think was going to happen when he balled up his fist and drove it into the stomach of his 10 week old baby boy?

Anyone capable of becoming a police officer would realise that punching a 10 week old baby would do irrepairable damage and more than likely be a fatal blow.

Seriously, a child would know this!

Yet here we are, with another child killer who pleaded down to manslaughter rather than facing the charges they deserve …. that of child murder.

โ€œThe courts are saying they canโ€™t prove he intended to kill Kye, but in my eyes, if you are going to punch a two-and-a-half-month-old in the stomach really hard, you are going to kill them,โ€ Ms Chambers told A Current Affair.
โ€œHe is very manipulative and very evil. I mean, it takes an evil person to do what he did.โ€ โ€“ Well said Ms Chambers !

While sentencing Randall in Brisbaneโ€™s Supreme Court, Justice Peter Davis delivered a scathing assessment of the 41-year-old, saying he had breached his duty to care for his son in the โ€œmost horrible and vile wayโ€.

Randall maintained for three-and-a-half years the injuries were caused by CPR he had incorrectly performed, despite being familiar with the technique. โ€œIt beggars belief in circumstances where he was a trained instructor (in CPR),โ€ Mr McCarthy said.

Yeah sorry Randall, you loser, it was you punching your son Kye that killed him, not bad CPR !

Recently Randall appealed the length of his sentence, wanting to be free before his already incredibly lenient parole date in 2021. He tried to claim that the judge did not put enough weight on his guilty plea.

A guilty plea that he only gave at the very last possible moment to do so, because he knew his not guilty plea would not fly and he would be found guilty of murdering his son. So he got the advantage of an early guilty plea and a charge reduction to manslaughter…. not the murder charge he should have been facing.

Thankfully the board of judges that heard his appeal saw straight through his lies and denied his appeal for early release.

Well done to the judges who dismissed his appeal, they have shown that sometimes there is just a little bit of justice in our legal system and that sometimes the judges get it right.

Colin Randall should be locked up for the rest of his days, his pathetic temper tantrum cost little Kye his life !

A life that had unlimited potential, a life taken away because Colin Randall was frustrated that he didnโ€™t get the transfer he wanted.

It’s time our legal system spoke loudly to these murderers who take the lives of innocent babies like Kye and toddlers like Hemi and then claim it was an accident.
Beating a baby is not an accident and they deserve to face the full force of the law, the charge is murder not manslaughter and sentence should be life !

Daniel Holdom has been given two life sentences for murdering Karlie Pearce-Stevenson and little Khandalyce.

โ€œHis brutality will haunt us foreverโ€ โ€“ Karlie and Khandalyce Pearce-Stevensonโ€™s family.

โ€œFrom now until the day he dies women and children must be protected, their safety must be paramountโ€

This statement from the family is all the more heartbreaking when you realise while police were searching for the murderer of Karlie and Khandalyce….. Holdom was out raping a 9 year old girl.

In 2014, Holdom faced the NSW District Court and was jailed for a maximum of 4 years and 3 months after he sexually assaulted a 9 year-old who lived in a neighbouring caravan on the NSW Central Coast.

Holdom removed the girl’s pyjamas and sexually assaulted her. He denied it when the girl told her mother what happened. His DNA was found in the girl’s underwear and he was convicted of having sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10.(RAPING a child under the age of 10) ,

If only our legal system thought the same way about protecting the innocent as Karlie and Khandalyce’s family do, he would have been behind bars for his previous convictions and would have been incapable of harming anyone.

Holdom had a long list of previous convictions for violent crimes including assault and domestic violence he had criminal records in three states and the Northern Territory, including for a 1999 assault where he tried to strangle his girlfriend and placed a pillow over her face when she ended their relationship.

That ‘assault’ should have been charged as an attempted murder and he should have been put behind bars where he belonged
If we were allowed to know these things about possible partners, women like Karlie would not innocently and unknowingly be walking unprotected into hell on Earth, and taking their children with them.

As far as we at FACAA are concerned, Holdom’s convictions should have seen him behind bars for life… he shouldn’t have been free to violently and sadistically rape and murder this innocent mother and then murder her baby girl and callously dump her body in a suitcase.
His long list of previous convictions should have seen him locked away, but we realise, for now, the justice system doesn’t agree with us and these heinous predators are all eventually released onto an unsuspecting public.

There should have been a publicly searchable register of all violent partners/offenders in place, where Karlie, or one of her family, or friends could have checked Holdom out and on seeing his past record, Karlie could have made an informed decision before spending any more time with this waste of oxygen. Lets face it, if she knew what he was like she would never have gone out with him or allowed him anywhere near her beautiful child…. and their family would now not be suffering the pain of having 2 such precious lives ended so violently.

But if our Government won’t allow us to protect our children with a publicly searchable sex offenders register, what hope do we have for a violent partners/offenders register.

Holdom was still behind bars for the rape of the little 9 year old girl, as he was denied parole, when he was charged with the double murder of the young mother and her toddler daughter and dumped their remains 1200 kilometres apart will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Daniel James Holdom, 44, pleaded guilty in July to the December 2008 murder of his girlfriend of two months, Karlie Pearce-Stevenson, 20, and Khandalyce Pearce, aged two-and-a-half, about four days later.

Ms Pearce-Stevenson’s remains were found in the Belanglo State Forest in 2010, but were not identified until her daughter’s remains were discovered in 2015 in a suitcase dumped beside a South Australian highway.

In the NSW Supreme Court today, Justice Robert Allan Hulme imposed life sentences on Holdom for both murders. Holdom made a last-minute bid to withdraw his guilty plea for Khandalyce’s murder. but the judge refused his application after a brief adjournment.
I am starting to really like this Justice Hulme.

“His treatment of her (Karlie) showed complete disdain for her existence as a human being,” Justice Hulme said, labelling it a murder of “extreme gravity and appalling depravity”.

“For him, she was just flesh with a life that could be extinguished for his vile pleasure.”

Justice Hulme then described Holdom’s killing of the “completely defenceless two-year-old” girl as “despicable”.
I really like this Justice Hulme. Way to hammer this child murdering scumbag ! Not like he deserves anything less.

Ms Pearce-Stevenson’s unidentified skeleton was for years known as “the Angel of Belanglo” due to a t-shirt found with the remains with the word “angelic” on it.
She had bone fractures indicative of being forcefully stomped on or kneed in the chest, the agreed facts state.

Her blonde toddler Khandles, suffocated by Holdom “probably” in a hotel room in Narrandera, was found with balls of dishcloth stuffed in her mouth, layers of tape wound from her chin to her eyes, and a disposable nappy wrapped around her skull.

Holdom also used bank cards and personal papers to steal more than $70,000 from Ms Pearce-Stevenson’s accounts, and a mobile phone to create “false indications” to her family that she and Khandalyce were alive.

“The offender, for at least for the foreseeable future, represents a danger to society,” Justice Hulme said.
Yes he does and he should never be released as a result.

Finally a judge who gets the fact that child killers do not ever deserve to be set free and a judgement that will see this waste of oxygen die in prison, never to harm another innocent again.
We can only hope this sentence brings some peace to the family, our thoughts and love go out to you..
Rest in Peace Karlie and Khandalyce, we will add your names to the list of why we will never stop fighting.
Fly high precious girls..
