She’s as alive in death as anyone in life I know
Although life and death may be one, and so, I wonder if perhaps I was born already dead,
For all this life is (obviously) just in my head.
It makes some sense that life and not life are one, For, who knows, “Death” may just be having fun, And all these notions of death we are taught, Might be silly things we dead people have bought.
If you die and land in a place you are told is life,
How would you even know?
And, if your wife, One day says: “Tell them I’m not alive, “You all might have been dead all along! No jive!
We in this land are taught about A Creator,
But also told “God is Dead” somewhat later.
Maybe in this Circle of Life, we are connected, Or perhaps from a life long ago I was ejected.
So, when I am told a lady is expecting a baby, Who will be “born into life,” I think that maybe,
I was initially tricked into believing I was ever born,
And Life is Death; no wonder then I deeply mourn.
