Knocking Bad, Rude Elmer 😉

Elmer feels very old; he is alone, lying on his bed. He is close to death; Death is knocking; he is almost dead. Elmer cheated and was rude, and his shame he hid, He was probably unkind to animals and nearly every kid.
How can anyone forgive Elmer? He’s a rotten brat. Let him lie alone in bed. I tell you, I have never sat, Next to such a one as he, for he is so evil, His eyes are brown, and he cries a lot because he is so sad.
“Well, cry, cry, Elmer; I hope you cry yourself out.”And, as he cries there, I realise that obviously, I am the lout, I am Elmer; you are Elmer; connections are secure. A little time, a flip of circumstance, and I am Elmer before long.
Now, I am sitting, hopefully holding Elmer’s trembling hand, Perhaps you’re right, he deserves it not, but please understand, How much did God forgive you today? To err is human; forgive divine, I am not much; I am even less than that; perhaps it will help if I whine.
I was just kidding! God never forgave me today, And God never forgave Elmer, for this much we can say: “God takes no offence, that’s why judgment belongs to me, I’ll give it back to God; then, God eats it and grows a tree.
As I sit next to Elmer’s death bed, I am holding his limb; There’s a tree where Elmer was; my eyes are growing dim, And dim eyes are not so acute, seeing hardly any faults at all. I pray to see no flaws; Elmer has become so tall.

Life is like a bunch of roses. Some sparkle like raindrops. Some fade when there's no sun. Some just fade away in time. Some dance in many colors. Some drop with hanging wings. Some make you fall in love. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Life you can be sure of, you will not get out ALIVE.(sorry about that)
