#AceNewsReport – Nov.20: The Duchess of Cambridge is known all over the world for her incredible sense of style and dedication to her many important charities and patronages: Catherine has wowed the crowds at all of her recent public appearances: And it was no different as she paid her respects to the nation’s war dead at Remembrance events last weekend alongside other members of the Royal Family.
#AceDailyNews says according to London News Report: The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Remembrance Sunday events in London and she looked incredible as she sported a black military style jacket and completed the look with some of Diana, Princess of Wales’s jewellery in tribute by Rebecca Russell of MyLondon
Last Saturday night the Duchess of Cambridge joined other members of the Royal Family as she attended the Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
She then stood in between Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall and Sophie, The Countess of Wessex as they watched the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Central London.
For both appearances, Catherine wore jewellery which worked as a sweet nod to her late mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales.
She wore Diana’s Collingwood pearl earrings that were given to the late princess as a wedding gift in 1981.
The Duchess has worn the pearl earrings on several previous occasions, including at the commemorations for the centenary of the Battle of Passchendaele during the First World War in 2017.
As well as the earrings, she also wore Diana’s three-strand pearl bracelet, which Diana received 1988. Catherine had previously worn the bracelet during a tour of Germany in 2017.
While several members of the Royal Family were present at the annual event, one notable absence was the Queen.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “The Queen, having sprained her back, has decided on that morning with great regret that she will not be able to attend today’s Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph.
“Her Majesty is disappointed that she will missed the service.”
