As I stood at my window, I noticed the fussing and squabbling of the menagerie of cockatoos, galahs, and corella’s but I could not See through my sheer curtains. Pulling them aside, I still could not see clearly through my case windows forcing me to move to the left and up a bit. But I still could not see properly so I positioned myself in front of the next bay of windows. There they all are!! Now I can see clearly…. that song floods in….” I can see how the rain has gone; I can see all obstacles in my way”
I relate this to realising that God Is real and when I accepted Jesus into my heart – through Faith (faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see) it was like putting on glasses for the first time after years of struggling with your poor eyesight, to finally be able to see clearly. I know we have all heard this cliché before over n over, but it has been around for thousands of years and will remain. You may say well how do I do such a thing as its just upside down and does not make sense. Well, that’s the whole point…. when you can’t see you need to reposition yourself, move the curtains, take a different stance.
Besides what have you got to lose really? If you are completely happy holistically and satisfied with your entire life, then ok stay that way. But if you would like to see the birds that God created and find out what he has planned for You then take that step and find out. Question everything a friend of mine has written on his cap. So, question God, ask him to show you how to See Clearly.
My vision has been restored, I am healed, and I am whole, I want for nothing but wake up excited every day for what God has got in store for me. I hope that the Holy Spirit Highjacks my day. Every Single Day is a New Day, with new Grace putting the past behind me so I can grow and morph into the person I am created to be.
The rain has gone.
