3000 year old village of Uraman Takht (Throne of Ahura Mazda) in East-Kurdistan (North-West Iran). Roof of each house is the yard of the house on top. The people living in this region are Hawrami Kurds. They speak the Hawrami dialect of the Gorani-Zaza Kurdish Language, which is believed to be the closest descendant of Avesta, the language in which the sacred Zoroastrian scripts were written. What Nietzsche wrote about in “Thus Spoke Zarathrustra” originated from these depths of the Zagros Mountains.
