“IS LOVE EVER REALLY WHAT YOU EXPECT!?” March 23rd: Friday.
A ragged man, in ragged clothes, came knocking on my door,*
Suppose that this is IT, the love, You’ve sought forevermore?
But, probably not – can you have love, with all those expectations?
P’shaw, I’ll leave!
I’ll STEAL away –
And with no preparations,
Yes, I shall leave,
And cry and die – for all the while,
And, as I sit, on distant Beach,
A slimy creature, it’s a leach,
Attached itself to my sick leg,
And sucked my blood – and I did fade,
Away unto OBLIVION,
And (I) wake again – thought I was gone,
I awoke – in sterile circumstance,
And watched a host of “BADDIES” dance:
Said leach, THAT man, others-I-can’t-stand,
My “ex” and “HER,” CANCER-(and)-THAT-dog,
The evil witch, just down the street,
Tele-vangelists I’ll never meet,
“God,” I screamed; “Leave me alone;
I don’t like this – hurts to the BONE!”
“Then you-don’t-want-love! You don’t want me!” was GOD’s replying symphony – “For ALL is me – and all is GOOD – ACCEPTANCE IS THE WAY, MY PUD! Arjuna wanted so to gaze, and see me clearly – NOT-in-a-haze,
BUT, DEAR, WHAT EYES WILL LOOK WITH LOVE UPON THIS WRETCHED ‘GOD’ ABOVE – WHO’S SAD, FORLORN AND LOVED BY NONE! PLEASE DON’T DISCARD YOURSELF, MY HON!”
- [A ragged man in ragged clothes, came knocking at my door. His journey has been long, I think – miles by the score! “Go away,” I said with pride, and he- turned-to-go-away – AND THEN, I SPIED HIS PREGNANT WIFE AND I KNEELED DOWN TO PRAY!] 🙂
