You can do the impossible
Take life in your own hands, and what happens? No one to blame
Remember not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck
You can do the impossible
Take life in your own hands, and what happens? No one to blame
Remember not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck
I dream of hope and purpose, but they vanish in the morn,
I try to recollect when life was never so forlorn,
Each time I rise with some resolve, the past invades this place,
And resurrects hopelessness within this future space.
Perhaps I could accept this time if I were young again,
Nevertheless now this world is so transformed from where I thought I’d been,
Which seemed to not demand that we be sterile and removed,
And now the self-help gurus stress the things they think they’ve proved.
As doctors plot to treat the weak, the sickly and the scared,
Taking all their resources because they say they’ve cared,
And say that their restrictions are a help in this dim age,
I am not fooled by their kind demeanour;
they’re not sage.
Authority is pompous, and they offer false, false hope,
Saying that without them and a good supply of soap,
That we will ne’er recover, but I think it’s good advice,
To not buy in much to their rantings; they are throwing dice.
I wish my book of life was written in pencil
There are a few pages I would like to erase

A Head on car crash,
Car lights heading towards me swerving, I look to my passenger, hey look at this, yep he was asleep. When I looked forward Bang. I woke in my car, flashing lights everywhere, my outside of the car asking Dave what’s your mom’s phone number, I replied 90, he asked again 90, an emergency worker asked me can you get out of the car, I tried but no my right ankle was stuck. They’re attention was on the other car, there was a baby, the driver had fallen asleep. Eighteen year’s later there was a knock on my door an insurance man asking me what I remembered, I was stuck in my car was all I could say. The baby had grown up chasing,

You are out of bounds to me
Factors myriad separate me from you
We inhabit different ambiances, worlds
I can love you only from faraway
And be happy in this love.
You are not mine in any sense
Except as a miasmic friend
A magnificent mirage
Over life’s empty desert
Spinning in an outer orbit
However always ascendant
On my immediate horizon
I never lose sight of you.
I won’t say I love you
I know it won’t be welcome
A love thrust upon you
That you don’t hope or expect.
I won’t be a nuisance
A snake in the grass
A black ant in paradise
I will ever be on your margins
Camouflaged in anonymity
From where I will love,
I will adore, and cherish you.
Won’t trespass into your space
Won’t intrude on your time
I am comfortable, content
Happy to love you thus.
Love that is unfulfilled
Needn’t be love in misery.
Go about your ways my lovely
I will admire you from far away
. . . . DIVINE LOVE:
Pine needles there upon the ground, covering up the green,
Yes, they’re stiff and pointy, dry, as I have seen,
And, at first, they shower gracefully, but soon all green is gone, Which makes it very difficult to walk upon the lawn.
We can be taken up with them,
but soon we realize,
That real love, it comes from God,
and is not in disguise.
True love it lasts and will not fade,
and only grace can fill,Our souls, our lives with God’s surprise;
I pray we’ll have good will.
We’ll always ask for God’s true love and know the love we’ve got,
Is only True,
Divine and Good when it will not rot,
Like dry pine needles on the ground which cover God’s green grass.
May these needles not impede;
The blessed feet which pass.

“HOPING COURAGE MIGHT CATCH UP WITH ME”
I’m scared of what the future holds,
If there’s a God, I’m sure God scolds,
People like me for not trying, Hard enough for fear of flying.
And, if I did not clean enough,
Will God be angry, mighty gruff, And punish me?
Well, look right here: I am often with a tear.
I have no faith,
but pray aloud, Hoping to make God right proud,
Of someone saying: “You big loser, “Oh, sure, I never was a boozer.
I didn’t smoke and tried to be, Conscientious, just like me,
But, in the end, I’m not much fun, And I have kept me on the run.
Until, in the running, oh, so much,
I have no courage in the clutch,
And, therefore, ask for faith each day.
So all this fear might go away ~
I’m sure most will relate to these words.
Humans are unusual;
God has tears running down his face.
He said ” l loved you before you were born.
What did you do?
God is love.
God does not punish his children.
God knows all.
Did you not understand Gods word.
We write about judgement as we have.
God does not judge that is a human term we created somewhere in time.
Men and women are to criticise others as they despise themselves in the concept of life.
Life was meant to be used wisely.
To encourage all to be mindful of others.

“Nonsense In America”
It’s just a bit of nonsense, in America, not profound,
Which masquerades as serious, but desecrates the ground.
Don’t let the turkeys come and get you down,
Like politicians, lawyers, doctors –
They will make you frown.
A black man’s killed, a white man too;
this is a good excuse, To pillage, burn and kill some more;
perfection’s on the loose.
Let’s be correct, where kindness is life’s one,
right, pure, useful purpose,
No more hunger, greed or need –
High standards can usurp us.
The disease will stop,
and life will flourish as soon as we get done,
With harmful pollution, wars and famine; are we having fun?
When you see monarchs in The White House and dementia in campaigns, Biden,
Pelosi, Don and Hillary – will take respective lanes.
America is full of nonsense, like treaties to surrender;
It’s comedy behind closed doors: jesters should not fight.
And life is nonsense in this place of cabbages and kings,
If you take America TOOseriously, heartache this thing brings.
So, take us with a grain of salt, about ten stories high.
The nonsense of America can make me cry.
America can be a force to help all humankind,
But to be great.
It must be good, or else It’s bloody blind.
So, come on, Old America and take a good lead,
To help all people and be kind;
PROgress is what we need.

Love comes into your life like a dream
A sentimental evaporation of feelings
A rosy dream, getting rosier as it reaches you
And you wonder if you are in heaven or earth.
But sometimes it can hit you like a tornado
A tsunami of emotions gone wild
It leaves you stunned and winded
And you wonder if it is really love.
So be ready for anything
As far as love is concerned
A feast or a fierce play of feelings
As both brings you infinite bliss
If it is true, and means what it really means
What is life worth, if it must mean:
being as they are.
A boy scout’s not so bad, my friend,
and I could go quite far,
If I could take some decency,
a little there on board,
And be right satisfied,
with what I can afford.
Is life worth much,
if I must lose my principles and way,
Becoming as an angry mob, comforted by the fray,
The winning of a thousand wars and a hundred thousand hence,
Is never worth a moment in The Isle of The Dense?
I’d rather live one day right here and for the right to do,
What’s in my heart;
it’s undoubtedly right – for us,
that’s you and me.
I might be called too righteous,
but I think that it’s OK
If Hearts are pure;
I hope they’re good and never turn to grey.
I walked these streets with Martin, King. Luther was his name,
And we were dressed in tie and vest and played a straight game.
I’m sure if we are blessed by grace to pray among the wise,
Then we’ll stay true to old and new;
“Well done” is our surprise.
Let’s try to learn our lesson and never compromise,
And, even if we die right here, we might, to our surprise,
Find out that on a straight path,
there’s room in Paradise,
For staying true to old and new:
“Well done,” the best surprise.
A thousand years from now I think, we may just hear the story,
Of how once people kissed, held hands, when touching was not gory,
But now, officials they have given the “social distance” nod,
Suggesting that a sterile life is what we should applaud,
A strategy that’s oft’ been shown to make all people rusty,
What is life, when we are starved and things become so dusty?
We’re told that people in care homes eat more with more caress,
Plus, studies show that without touch, seratonin becomes less,
And seratonin is an antidepressant, allowing us to all sleep more,
I’m told, without cuddling parents, baby monkeys isolate upon the floor.
Perhaps it’s clear that now humans simply wish to destroy,
Their kind, but what do poets know,
especially this lonely boy.
So, touch can kill and touch can heal,
I think, what kills the most,
Is that which instills fear and stress,
like a governmental post,
Which urges people toBe unnatural,
for the sake of sustaining life,
Like never touching anyone,
even your children or your wife.
But life is only worth as much as the love which we can show,”No lives matter anymore!”
Lying chanters are on the go.

If I have ears
Attuned to nature
The singing of a lark
Threnody of waves
Patter of rain
On a tiled roof
Soft wind blowing
Their sweet pleasure
Bird’s lonesome call
To a far off mate
The sound of a piano
Whispering Für Elise
I am attuned
To my beloved
Peals of laughter
Of being with you.
No more I wander.
Nor my senses too.
