JESUS IS ON THE CROSS AT MY HOUSE.

JESUS IS ON THE CROSS AT MY HOUSE.

(Written this year. Some days are unpleasant, to say the least; however, interesting thoughts sometimes issue forth from hopelessness, helplessness, sadness, fear, hatred & anger.)

Jesus is on the cross at my house.

I see Him when I look in the mirror.

He wonders when He will be released.

โ€œIf You are The Son of God, free Yourself.โ€

โ€œYou have many means of salvation at your disposal; choose one.โ€

Jesus is on the cross at my house.

The food He eats is an abomination.

The thoughts He thinks are an abomination.

Hopelessness and Fear are ever with Him – constant companions,

And He pitiably turns to others, asking for just a little comfort.

Jesus is on the cross at my house.

He keeps trying to do something,

But nothing seems enough or good enough.

He is a glutton for punishment,

And the cross is uncomfortable when He TRIES to sleep.
