“HIT THAT BUTTON.” a poem for: 14 November 2019 (Thor’s Day)
There are buttons on this shirt; some buttons on your coat;
There are “buttons” my ex-wifeWILL PRESS,
And then she’ll start to gloat.
There’s a button on the cell phones and a button that I fear,
“All The Lights” will go off, Dear;
And, then, thereAreButtons that we have that feel good when we press,
Them. (The Video’s Paused) Continue Watching?

And, of course, there’s your DEFAULT BUTTON, a favorite one of mine,
For, when that special button is pressed, well, IT’S JUST DIVINE,
When, suddenly, The Earth Stands STILL or, maybe, I feel it move.
[Who could have imagined a single button (like that) could putUs in SuchAgroove?]
So, you have a button there and buttons up here, and I have some of my own,
That, if they’re touched or tickled, that can really make me moan.
One time, I HAD A DREAM Avision Of Heavenly Delight,
Where Jesus&HisMother and HisDADandTheKids
WerePressingAllSortsO’buttons. ALL RIGHT. (The Video’s Paused!)
And they was appeal ing to The Amish, who say pressing buttons is a sin;
YET as I recall, The Amish like to press buttons beforeSleepieTime,
For, youKnow, A CONJUGAL WIN.
And Speaking of WINNING, there’sAplatformAfterThe Ninja Ladder, where,
YOU HIT THE (winning)BUTTON, (The Video’s Paused!)
BUT, COMPARED TO YOUR LOVE, My Perfect Love,
IS (just) NUTT(h)IN’
