“NON TOLERANCE.” a poem, a.k.a.: “The Awareness of Cultivating A Heart of Acceptance.” Friday: November 1, 2019
“Well, I AM NOT going to tolerate YOUR ‘failings’ in my life,
For I AM on THE road of understanding, and you are creating a bit of strife,
Which I will CERTAINLY NOT TOLERATE; I AM sweeping my path clean,
Of ugly, brutish, old paradigm people. NO, I AM NOT being mean;
I AM LOVING MYSELF and refining my life, deserving no one like you,
Who holds me back, doesn’tLiftMeUp; I won’tLetYou’DragMeDown’ toBe BLUE.
I AM I AM I AM I AMaGod, and, if you can not rise,
To my level of existence, you must be The Devil in disguise,
THE DEVIL WHO DOESN’T WANT ME TO ELEVATE TO THE NEW PARADIGM;
I will sluff you off, you rude and crude and old, STINKY filthyGrime.”
And ON & ON & ON (s)he went, until (s)he reached her (his) Heaven,
&, asWeKnowFromOther poems, There was NO ONE THERE; & with so much leaven,
(S)he had risen (pause) WON DERFULLY, up there in(to) The Skies?
And, over in the distance, (s)he noticed a group of The Wise,
Men (and Women) sitting saying: (pause) “TO ACCEPT THE ‘GOOD’ & ‘BAD,’
THAT, (pause) We see as(or)is SAGE; toReject IsTruly, SimplySAD,
For humans are a Mixed Breed, and all traits (to some extent) are to be admired,
And APPLIED WITH MODERATION, (pause) lest you become too tired,
TOO GOOD (pause) TOO NOBLE (pause) andReally TOO AWARE.
Moral: THE TRULY AWARE PERSON IS TRULY LOVING TO ALL FOLKS EVERYWHERE,
And will never demean (pause) regardless of Their so-called “CHARACTER FLAWS,”
And will NOT call DEMEANING “noble” or “friendly” (pause) just because,
THAT WHICH IS VIEWED TRULY THROUGH THE EYES OF COMPASSION,
IS SEEN with TOLERANCE AS VALUABLE, (in some way) (pause) for:
“Acceptance IS ALWAYS IN FASHION.”
A LIMERICK: called: “Others Don’t Abuse Us; Others Don’t Disappoint Us; We Can Only Do That To Ourselves.” I say that you have quiteAbusedMe You’reBeingSOrude, butDo I see? Especially clear? Through my own bitter tear?
AmInot AbusingMYSELF chron i c’lly. AND
Perhaps, IF I lighten a little, And simply will answer THIS RIDDLE: Of: WHY AM I ALONE? (p) Then, I’ll remove thisHere stone ToSEE that I’MnOT “second fiddle.”
