“JUST GETTING READY.” a poem November 8, 2019 (Friday)
Sometimes, ever so often, you don’t know what to do;
Of course, you can always drink a cup of water, pick up the house & shower too,
And NOT be upset with the day because inspiration seems far away.
You can take “the attitude” of what we can call: A Relaxed, Easy Pray,
Which is to remember: “Don’t be too serious, for in our way, we’re each a clown;
We sometimes wear a smile, and sometimes wear a frown,
But we can get ourselves nice and washed and also get ‘made up,’
And you might sip you a little more water, one more little cup,
And get yourself ‘just prepared,’ prepared inside or out;
Whatever you do just “get ready;” then, there’s no need to pout,
But, at least, GET YOURSELF READY, and try to hope a bit,
So, you are not such stagnating and having yourself a fit.
Just GET YOURSELF READY; who knows what might come then,
But at least you will be ready,
To do special things again.
