“PUSH THE BONE!” a poem for: Thursday (September 5, 2019)
How can SOMETHING-so-soothing – be SO-exciting?
I just love the-clawing – and-the gentle biting!
But I-ALSO – love the tender caress –
Of what’s beneath your dress!
PUSHING “on the bone,”
Can really make-us moan!
Pushing on the OUTSIDE! and also PUSHING IN!
PUSHING THE BONE – is a lot-about what-they used-to-tell-us – was sin,
But, for married couples, IT’S JUST-THE-THING;
It’s NOT routine? (Well, maybe JUST-A-LITTLE,)
But it-can often bring,
And help-us throw-away-the-fears,
Of A-World that seems to have gone MAD!
Aren’t people always searching for love?
So life won’t-be too sad?
AND I-GUESS ONLY “GRACE’ CAN DRAW YOU NEAR,
To “The Lover of Your Dreams,” and it-is SO “dear,”
That (I think) “YOU CAN ‘SEARCH’ FOREVER – AND STILL COME UP SHORT!” 🙁
[If you’re drawn to THE RIGHT ONE, you’re likely to hear each other snort!]
I think-that “pushing the bone” with The One you really LOVE,
Who really LOVES you – will take you Above,
The Painful Sorrow of so many maladies DOWN HERE,
In The LAND of heartbreak and troubles – and lots of spilled beer!
So, we’ll cling to each others, as GOD SAID WE SHOULD!*
It’s NOT maybe SO GOOD – “for The-Man-to-be-alone!”
- – “A man should cleave unto his wife . . . & eat more peanut butter!?” Genesis 2:24
** – AND – “afternoon wood!” and, yes, of course “evening-wood!” “Dusk-Before-Dawn-wood!” “Normally-I-wood!” “Could-a-Would-a-wood!” et al
