“LIFE IS AN ILLUSION; CHANGE IS A FLICKER; LOVE IS THE CONSTANT, SO HOLD ON, CITY SLICKER!” a poem 4 Saturday “Day of Grunge!” August 17, 2019!
This life is an illusion! A TRICKY STUNT!”
But-I’m-in-NO-confusion – ’bout the girl I want!
I say “I want a girl, who shows me lots of skin,
And is so soft and pretty – and lets me gently in!”
Yet, I-want shy and proper – and decent, kind and true.
How can anyone fulfill-all-that, that-I’m-attracted to?
A: On-l-y “a-chameleon,” and-it’s-the-same-with-HER;
She wants her Lord(y) Lancelot, also-a slobbering, horny cur!
She wants HIM to-go from debonnaire – to downright, hard and nasty!
You-must LOVE CHANGE! to-go-from-[a]-cushioned-bra,
To-a cute, revolving pa(h)stie!*
“How much change can a woodchuck chuck – before he gets a tummy ache?”
And really how variable can anyone be, f-for the blessED sake,
Of YOU, my lover? CAN-WE-AGREE, to always-a-timely-describe,
TO EACH OTHER, what-might-feel-good as we “bump and ride?”
What might feel nice? Really, who can tell,
Until they’ve tried it – IN OUR WISHING WELL!?
EVERYONE’S UNCERTAIN, UNLESS THEY DECIDE,
TO JUST CONTINUE, NO MATTER WHAT “THE TIDE,”
WILL OFFER, AND-NO- MATTER
Moral: “JUST HOLD ON, HONEY! LET”S HOPE THERE’S A NET!”
