Mystic Poet

“JESUS’ LAST WORDS, TRANSLATED BY J-JAY SAMUEL DAVIS, WHOSE FACEBOOK SITE (BUT NOT HIS TUMBLR SITE) HAS BEEN QUARANTINED BY FACEBOOK, INC. FOR INAPPROPRIATENESS!” a poem November 28, 2018 [Wednesday!] a.k.a.: “J-Jay, You Bad Boy!”

As Jesus-Christ-sat-on-that-Rock, He told-us-a-thing-or-two:

Like “Eat the food that-your-girlfriend cooks – lap-up her fishy stew!

And listen-to-her-chatter, on-and-on-’til-Break-o’-Day,

For, although-you’re-sure to slumber there, at-least-she-won’t-think-you’re-gay!

If a mangy cat – or a dirty dog – doth stroll up to your side,

Pet and feed – the vile cur – for-a-blessing, it doth ride,

When-you-take-pity – on-a-wayward-soul – and show some kindness there,

It makes life better, for all concerned – and-with-flowers-in your hair,

Sing a song – and dance a jig – and tell a friend you love-um,

For we may not be here again – so-try to-be-real-aw’esome!”

And with that, Good J faded, He vanished in thin air,

Upon The Rock – that He did sit – a flower was laid bare:

It was a flower, as fair as Spring – and-gilded-in-purest-gold;

I bet it had the sweetest smell – if truth be ever told!

And, as I walked – away from there, I heard a pure delight!

“Merry-Christmas-to-ALL, I’m-sure-to-”call,” some cold and lonely night!”
