“WE MAY NEVER PASS THIS WAY AGAIN!” a poem. a.k.a.: “… But That’s OK Because VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE And The Memories Of Everything Will Never Be Lost!” a.k.a. 2: “Passionately GRAB! Let go! Repeat!” Sept. 22, 2018: [Saturday] another terrible poem, in the poetic series: “Eat Humble Pie, For God’s Sake!!” [Actually, I think this is the very first poem in that newly conceived series!!] 🙂 – Yup!
You’ll be gone at The Dawn, so why-do-you-hang on?
Are-you-a-GLUTTON? For pun – ish – ing – ment?
IF life’s a “dead dog,” why’s your kick like a log?
Why not save your poor leg: have some mercy, I beg:
I’m-NOT that-important, you know!
We’re bruised and we’re broken! Still many-words they are spoken,
I-think-silence-can-be-”golden,” my bro!
With a confident air, we just don’t mind to STARE –
And “bend” people to all of our wishes!
I’ve still got HUMBLE PIE – a few pieces you’ll spy,
And I’ll even clean up all the dishes!
We can eat (the) pie with cream, or a glass of Jim Beam,
AND WE’LL BE IN A “FINE” STATE OF MIND!
We’ll be gone at The Dawn, BUT to YOU, I’ll hang on,
As I tingle from your “bump and grind!”
🙂 – Oh, MY!
