“PLEASE, PLEASE DON’T HURT YOURSELF!” a poem, in the SERIES entitled: “DON’T HURT YOURSELF, LOVE!”

Let’s love and love, my faerie fae,

But, if we love – the livelong day,

We can’t go walking or have a snack,

Let’s-not-hurt-ourselves-so-we-can-learn-the-knack,

Of “holding pinkies” in the Sun,

And dancing close; I LOVE YOU, Hon –

And, YES! I’m shy (too) – much-more-than you –

And hiding, hiding – is-what-I like to do,

But! I also dream – of showing-you-off,

And kissing you in public! And losing this cough!

‘Cause, if we’re always under cover and in the shade,

The-Sun-won’t-heal-my-throat – and-a-tomb-we’ve-made,

From vowing – vowing – to never go out,

To a movie – or the opera – and THERE IS NO DOUBT,

I PREFER TO BE IN BED WITH YOU MOST OF THE TIME,

But, on occasion, with-pen-and-paper, I like to rhyme,

And write-you fancy love letters, but-I-sometimes-write-alone,

As I’m thinking about – your lips – and how much you moan,

And how pretty you are – and how happy I am,

Touching-the-skin,

Of-The-Ultimate-Femme! 🙂 – Sigh!
