“GOD’S ADDICTION!” a poem for: July 10, 2018 (Tuesday)
GOD addicts US – because we’re GOD,
And God-wants-ITself-addicted – trapped inside a “bod,” (pause) for-no-reason-at-all – and every-reason-there-is,
‘Cause GOD LIKES TO “GET IT ON,” AND GOD LIKES TO FIZZ,
YEA! Drinking diet soda pop,
All these WONDERFUL – (pause)
AMAZING – (pause) CIRCUM-stances,
Are only pos-bile-when, addiction enhances,
THE SENSES! To experience (pause) all this “crap!”
For, you know, in GOD’S PLACE, there’s never a map [alt: no time to nap] !
NO TIME, NO SPACE-what-cha-think-o-that?
GOD LOVES TO CHANGE – TO A DIFFERENT HAT!
And-you’ll-ONLY-KNOW-this, (pause) when you die,
But-there’s-no-death-either! So, please don’t cry!
WHERE GOD KEEPS GOD SO VERY WELL,
Until GOD wakes and laughs so hard,
That CON-DITION-ALITY – be-comes-quite-“marred,”
And fizzles away, like soda pop bubbles,
That-appear-to-give-GOD (Us) so many troubles,
AND THESE BUBBLES AREN’T REAL,
And let sweet anger – and lust – come in,
And GOD just loves-all-this-entertainment:
