“PANDORA’S CELL PHONE!” a poem. May 23, 2018 – ODIN’s-day
I ope’d my eyes – and THERE’S THIS SCREEN,
The most cluttered mess I’ve ever seen!
BUT – it-was-so-CLEAR-when-I-closed-my-”globes”-last night!!
And, NOW, it is an awful sight!
MESSAGES – TEXTS – PICTURES – and – SUCH,
I just – don’t – even-wanna-touch,
IT! is a cacophony of so-many-things-to-do!!
Of responses – and taunts-es – Oh! Boo-hoo-hoo,
From THIS GIRL and THAT BOY, and I’s-just-a-simple-little-”toy!”
Well, IT REMINDS ME OF ANOTHER BOX-CALLED-PANDORA,
‘Bout a little girl that went searching for a-mora!
Who was curious and breached That Sacred Box curl:
She opened to find: evil demons-and-a-sprite,
Invading The World (and) going way outta sight!
And Pandora? Well, she was in “a tizzy,”
“WHAT HAVE I DONE,” cried this little lizzy!
BUT – there at the bottom, way in a corner,
Was HOPE!-So, She didn’t have to be a mourner,
‘Cause HOPE can relinquish The Evil and Strife,
Little Ol’ Hope! – She could be my wife!
Well, on my cell phone – after I “clicked” for a while,
Looking for HOPE, I stopped WITH A SMILE! 🙂
And located, I think, the fine corner of HOPE:
Called: DEFAULT SETTINGS and CLEAR ALL,
