“BABIES AND PUPPY DOGS!” a poem 04/21/2018 Saturday.

She’s got-a-marvelous business sense,

She’s driven like a man –

But – she’s-a-soft – all over (pause)

With a-lovely tan,

And golden locks that frame her face,

and stars are in her eyes,

And, IF I ever move again, I can’t imagine why!

Sometimes, I’m sure she likes me; sometimes, maybe not,

But, I-don’t-care – ‘cause, if-I’m-near (her),

It’s what I’ve always sought!

She doesn’t care for “out there,”

Or being recognized, and

She’s just crazy-’bout-babies (pause)

And puppies (pause)
