Two points of view🤗

“My Response To Keats’ ‘When I’ve Fears That I May Cease To Be.’” a poem. April 10, 2018 (Tuesday) to: M, of course –

When I have fears that-I-may-cease-to-be,

“I” turn to “cruel” philosophy

“I” remember, really – NOTHING MUCH,

Of what “I” was, BEFORE YOUR TOUCH –

I AM – observing,

ALL THIS PLAY;

DO “I” CONTROL IT?

BY THE WAY!

I AM observing, Sights and Sounds,

OF Murdered babies – Lost and Found(s),

Kissing cousins,

Moaning cats,

Jumping fences,

Eating rats!

This menagerie!

Filled-with-oh-such-fine,

SENTIMENTS-And-SUCH-“DIVINE,”

Clouds and deer and car-crushed birds,

And sexy girls – with-their-whey-and-curds,

Gushing! Out-of-their nursing breasts,

And Trump’s fine “tweets,”

And SCHOOL TESTS,

And friends and neighbors, stealing phones,

That have been lost,

And “LOVELY BONES,”**

In big lock boxes, lined with care,

So no one will get into there,

WITH LOVED ONES KISSING AND HUGGING TOO,

WE’RE “COOKING” LOVE, IN-A-PASSIONATE-BREW!

So, when-I-have-fears, that I may cease to be,

I ask the fears: “Whatcha want of me? Do I need more courage? To endure, Your great assaults, oh, clever sir? “

When I have fears that I may cease to be,

I am reminded of,

THE MYSTERY,

OF LIFE – and I’m not (even) sure I’m here,

And no one answers: ”WHY?”

Too clear!

[ (SEEM-TO) BE,

I’M F L O A T I N G, And, it’s clear (as mud) to see:

This stuff just happens – and then we die,

Or MAYBE NOT, John Keats!

Don’t cry! :0

fin. ❤

    • Poet John Keats died, aged 25 years, of tuberculosis!

** – See the film of the same title, where an innocent girl is tortured & her body is stuffed in a locked crate and buried far into The Earth and her father goes “ape shit!” AND – If you can’t feel sorry for the so-called “villain,” played by Stanley Tucci, what does that tell you anyway? Well, it might tell you, you are not very good at following Jesus’ admonition to “love your enemies and pray for those that would persecute you!” WHO IS? ❤

EDITOR: DAZZLED

Adorable, so sad my love. Why is it that humans question death? Are they fearful of the now!
Tomorrow has never existed
Yesterday is DEAD
YOU EXIST only at the moment you breath
All the past plus the future is irrelevant.
Cherish every moment of breathing you have in your body
Living with a passion that all humans are capable of is the most challenging thing you shall ever achieve.
When you find your passion * never let it go * for you have lived in the moment.
Remember you are uniquely one of a kind.
Beauty radiates within you
Moments in time are to be cherished
Self is destructive
Giving is glory
You are Peace
The happiness you already have, in your heart was given freely to share with others
Rewards in life are creating peace happiness to all
When you fall in love with all those blessings given to you at birth may you find true love within yourself
Life is simple
Cause at the end of the moment nobody escapes alive!
Take chances, sorry folks that’s life *
